ESPC @ the Parkland Institute’s Annual Conference

Parkland Institute annual conference

On November 15 – 17, 2019, the Parkland Institute held its annual conference, which brought together academics, activists, journalists, and other community members to discuss the rise of populism within Alberta, Canada, and the rest of the world. It was an enlightening and illuminating conference with passionate discussion held throughout.

Edmonton Social Planning Council was pleased to have the opportunity to have a table set up for the conference where we had the opportunity to have face to face conversations with engaged participants and share our research publications in the areas of low income and poverty.

Thank you to those of you who stopped by to check out our work!
